AGAPE COLLEGE MINISTRY TRACKS:
Many Christians desire to gain knowledge about a specific subject area, but do not wish to pursue the ORU Certificate in Theological Studies or the Agape College Diploma in Biblical Studies. In fact, many already may have completed the Agape College Diploma or other ministerial studies and now wish to perfect their giftings in a selected subject area. To meet these needs, Agape College offers Ministry Tracks of ten-credit-hours each, leading to a Certificate of Achievement in any of the following subjects:
Biblical Studies
Christian Caregiving
Leadership
Missions
Pastoral Care
Each track typically is completed in one year or less. Some or all credits earned in a Ministry Track may be applied toward the Diploma in Biblical Studies or the ORU Certificate in Theological Studies. Consult with your advisor early in your program for guidance in applying credits toward any of these programs.

Missions Track (10 Credits)
Agape College has its roots in preparing leaders for missions service, both locally and abroad. This track is closely linked with the Agape Missionary Alliance, a department of Agape Church that oversees missionaries in Africa, India, Asia, Latin America, and Europe. It also focuses on domestic outreach ministries to the homeless, to battered spouses, to those who are incarcerated, to the underprivileged, and to others who are lost in the world. It is specifically designed to provide the basic elements of training for those who have a clear call from God to serve in one of these ministries. It assumes the participant already has a solid grounding in the Word, in faith, and in the Holy Spirit. Therefore, its purpose is to provide the leadership and logistical skills needed to lead an outreach ministry. The ten credits may be earned in a combination of the following core and elective courses:

Pastoral Care Track (10 Credits)
The Pastoral Care Track is specifically designed for those who believe they have a call from God to serve in a senior, associate, youth, or other pastoral capacity. It assumes the participant already has a solid grounding in the Word, in faith, and in the Holy Spirit. While this track is illuminating and rigorous, in no way does it presume to provide the range of instruction that fully qualifies the participant to hold a pastorate, nor does it directly result in official credentialing. Therefore, its purpose is to provide some of the leadership, spiritual, and personal skills needed to lead a ministry and to familiarize the student with the office of pastor.
Upon completion, participants whose call to the pastoral ministry is confirmed are expected to pursue additional education, which may include the Diploma in Biblical Studies, the ORU Certificate in Theological Studies, and/or additional advanced training. Official credentialing can follow completion of this additional training, combined with other achievement standards such as length of service and mentoring. Agape College Ministry Tracks Tuition and Fees
Application, registration, and certain other fees are due prior to the beginning of a semester. Tuition may be paid in one of two ways: 1) per semester if paid at the beginning of the semester, or 2) regular installments through the semester.
It is important that Agape College students recognize the value of their educational experience as well as the extent to which their studies are underwritten. Agape College tuition and fees are equal to, or less than that of comparable courses elsewhere.
One of the most important characteristics of a Godly person is that they walk in integrity, and one of many measurable standards includes financial responsibility. Students at Agape College are expected to honor their responsibility to pay their tuition and fees in a timely way. Students with a record of habitual late payment may be asked to withdraw from school until such time as their financial situation allows them to continue.
Applicants who cannot afford full tuition and/or registration fees may apply for a partial scholarship/ sponsorship after the Application for Admission has been approved. Scholarships or sponsorships are available only for three-credit-hour courses. For details, please contact the Agape College office at 501-223-2793 or e-mail us at info@agapecollege.com.
See the schedule of fees, below, which is based on monthly installment payments (for complete costs of all programs, see the Catalog & Student Handbook). Students can save on costs of tuition and fees if paid in one lump sum at the beginning of a semester.
