Statement of Faith
- We believe the Bible is the inerrant, infallible and inspired Word of God, the product of holy men whom the Holy Spirit inspired. The Bible is the historical, literal record of human history, including the creation of the earth and its inhabitants.
We believe our God is one, manifested in three persons - the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, being co-equal. Jesus Christ, the Son, was conceived by the virgin Mary, and is both man and Deity in full measure.
We believe man is a created being, made in the likeness and image of God, but through Adam's transgression and fall, sin entered the world. Jesus Christ, the Son of God, was manifested to undo the work of the devil. As God incarnate, He gave His life, shed His blood, literally died physically and spiritually, was buried, and resurrected to redeem and restore man back to God.
We believe salvation is the gift of God to man, separate from works and the law, and is made operative by grace through faith in Jesus Christ. Man's first step toward salvation is godly sorrow that brings repentance and confession. Without this salvation no man will be saved from hell.
We believe baptism in water is by immersion. We do this as an act subsequent to salvation in obedience to our Lord Jesus Christ.
We believe the baptism in the Holy Spirit is a gift from God as promised by the Lord Jesus Christ to all believers. This baptism is subsequent to salvation and is received by asking and believing in faith and is accompanied by the initial evidence of speaking in other tongues.
We believe healing is for the spirit, soul, and body and is produced by the power of God through the prayer of faith and by the laying on of hands. It is provided for by the atonement of Christ, and is the privilege of every believer.
We believe in the Rapture of the Church as an event prior to Tribulation. Following the Tribulation, Christ shall return to earth as King of kings, and Lord of lords, and together with His saints, who shall be kings and priests, He shall reign on earth for a thousand years, during the Millennium. We believe in the bodily resurrection from the dead, and that all those found in Christ shall live eternally in heaven.
We believe in the reality of heaven and its existence.
We believe in the reality of satan, the enemy of God, and the existence of hell. Anyone who physically dies in his sins without accepting Christ as Lord and Savior is hopelessly and eternally lost in a literal lake of fire, and, therefore, has no further opportunity of hearing the Gospel or repenting.
We believe that a commandment of our Lord Jesus Christ is to go into all nations to preach the gospel making disciples to fulfill our responsibility of the Great Commission.
